Disney Princess Cash Register How To Open Drawer

Having two girls, it is nice sometimes to go all out girly and princess so when we were asked to review the Disney Princess Royal boutique cash register, I knew the girls would love it. They play with a wooden till at playgroup so I knew one that had sounds and a scanner would be a complete hit.

The till itself comes with a key to open the till drawer, a credit card, gold coins, notes and a fully working scanner which beeps when you scan the items. The register is also a real working calculator which correctly adds everything up which Charlie loved when he played with the girls.

Aside to the scanner it also has a functioning cash register drawer and a credit card swipe at the side. It features Snow White, Ariel, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Belle and Sleeping Beauty Aurora – a great toy if your little one loves the Disney Princesses.

I would just say that we struggled at the start to get the drawer open and had to press the total button quite a few times to get it to open as it kept getting stuck. After a while though it got looser and then it worked bit if the drawer doesn't open, just keep pressing the total button to get it to work. It can also be locked with the key which you can find on the bottom of the packaging.

Once I explained about a barcode they wanted to scan everything in sight. It was lovely as despite a few squabble's they took it in turn and everything was "one pound please!" It was a really nice game to watch them play together.

The registered requires 3 AAA batteries which are included. The cash register has an RRP of £24.99 which I think for everything is a fair price. It has a fully working, speaking calculator and scanner plus has the added bonus of the Disney princesses which I know many little girls that would absolutely love it. It would make a great present that doesn't just look good, it helps with interacting, fine motor skills and also when they're a but older with their maths for adding, subtraction, multiplication and dividing with the aid of the calculator. Many teachers at nursery always advised on getting a till or register, as play money is a great way to get kids to use mathematics in a fun capacity.
